Recipe Update!

I finally got some spare time and have created the recipe cards for the Polka Dot Brownies. A special thanks goes out to Carolyn for letting us know about the rave reviews they received at her birthday party. Head on over to the recipe page and download the recipe card, then get to baking! Please leave us a comment if you would like us to create recipe cards for any of our other recipes.

Wow it has been too long!

Well it has been some time since we have posted anything new on here.  We are obviously married by now and things have been going GREAT!  Our honeymoon was awesome, we can’t wait to go on another cruise one day.

I would like to take this time to thank all of our friends and family that were able to make it out for our big day.  We had such a great time and hope you had one too.  For all of you who weren’t able to make it, thank you so much for thinking about us.  Your love and support helped make everything possible.

Oh yeah…  Just incase you hadn’t noticed we have a new look.  I still have some tinkering I need to do but overall I think this design is promising.  Check back soon and who knows, maybe we will update more frequently now.

Happy Holidays!

WOWZERS!

We have been so busy lately! Just a little over two more months left til the big day.

Invitations are just about ready and will be sent out shortly. We are just waiting to get some final information on the room blocks, I will try to post that information as it comes in for those who would like to book a room. A couple weeks ago we met with the DJ, he should be a blast! We may have a few tricks up our sleeves for the reception. I guess that is something everyone will have to wait for though….

I will try to be a little better with my posts and keep the site a little better updated. We will see everyone soon!

We’re Engaged!

Just in case anyone hasn’t heard yet, Brittany and I are engaged. It all happened last Friday (December 26, 2008) on a trip to downtown Fredericksburg. We got a bite to eat and were supposed to walk up and down Caroline St to take a look at the Christmas lights while they were still up. Needless to say that because of the temperature we didn’t walk down Caroline St, instead we drove around looking at the shops and enjoying all the trees that were lit up for the Holidays. I was able to find a bench that we sat down on and talked for a while. I told Brittany that I had realized that I forgot to give her a Christmas present the day before, so I got up from the bench, went to my car and got a medium sized box from the trunk. I think at first Brittany had an idea of what it was but when she saw the size of the box she was confused. I gave her the box and she started to open it. When she saw the smaller box the ring was in I got down on my knee and asked her to marry me. At first she didn’t know what to say/do except laugh and tell me “You did buy it!” So I told her that she needed to tell me yes or no. That is when she said yes.

We are still trying to figure out a date and what is next as far as getting started with all the planning but we will surely keep everyone up to date with all the details.
