Our Honeymoon!

We have finally agreed on a honeymoon!  At first we were having a lot of trouble marrying (hehe) something affordable with something exciting.  But after a little research into the DisneyCruise we both decided it would be fun to try something neither of us have ever done.  And a great plus to it is that we can use our Disney timeshare to cover the cost!  We will be leaving on our all-inclusive trip exactly one week after the wedding.  It’s a 7-night cruise that sails from Port Canaveral, then stops in the Grand Caymens, Cozumel, Disney’s Castaway Cay, and back to Port Canaveral.  We were surprised to find out that all guests attend one formal dinner while onboard and we’ll even be having a meal with a Disney character – how funny!  There is a ton to do on the ship, including broadway-style shows, a movie theater, and even an adults-only pool and nightclub.  And we even got a room with a full walk-out balcony and veranda that looks out onto the ocean.  We are super-excited!

Christmas Eve

We took Zoe to the vet for her first wellness checkup this morning. Apparently it was considered a courtesy visit, so it didn’t cost the $100 or so we expected — Merry Christmas to us! Unfortunately Zoe has a benign tumor on her ear and they suggested that we have it removed at some point, which will cost upwards of $400, and definitely cause some discomfort for our little one. The other option with that type of tumor is to just wait it out — in most cases they eventually disappear. We’re going to think this over, but either way we need to keep an eye on her.

Now Chris & I are busy preparing for our Christmas Eve celebration. Our families will be visiting for food and festivities so the past few nights have been a frenzy of wrapping, creating, and cleaning. Everything is looking great now and we might even have enough time to watch a movie or take a nap before the fun begins. Chris has been a big help in preparing for the get together this year and I really appreciate all of his efforts. We can be a pretty good team when we put our minds to it.
